Theodore Robert Rufus Long is an American professional wrestling character who is perhaps best known through his tenure with World Wrestling Entertainment, where he served as a referee, manager and authority figure. Long began his career in the National Wrestling Alliance and made his WWE debut in 1998 as a referee. He then became Director on Screen in 2003, then Managing Director of SmackDown for two general terms of six years and one as Managing Director of ECW. In 2017, he was introduced to the WWE Hall of Fame by Ron Simmons and John Layfield.
